20th Shanghai international Film Festival takes place from the 17th till the 26th of June 2017. A full length feature film “KHARMS” by the director-debutant Ivan Bolotnikov, Proline Film studio production, participates in the main competition.Producers of the film are Andrey Sigle, Ieva Norvilene, Sasho Pavlovsky.
The biographic film about the Soviet writer and a poet Daniil Yuvachev better known as Kharms, will compete for the Grand Prix, "Golden Goblet" with 11 other pictures by the directors from China, the USA, Great Britain, Italy, Romania, Poland, Japan, Iran, Philippines, India and Bangladesh. The winner will be chosen by the international jury led by the Romanian director Christian Mungiu ("Graduation", "4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days").
