Elena Kozlova

Born on January 21, 1948 in Pechenga, Murmansk Oblast.

Has graduated from the History Department of the Zhdanov Leningrad State University.

Since 1966 works as a make-up designer at the Lenfilm studio.

Elena Kozlova is a master of the highest class. She had studied the art of a make-up designer right at the Lenfilm studio, starting as a make-up designer assistant and had participated in many films that have become classics of national cinema: King Lear / Korol Lir /Король Лир (1970) by Grigori Kozintsev, Monologue /Monolog /Монолог (1972) by Ilya Averbakh, 20-e dekabrya /20-е декабря (1981) by Grigori Nikulin, Heart of a Dog /Sobache serdtse /Собачье сердце (1988) by Vladimir Bortko, The Life of Klim Samgin /Zhizn Klima Samgina /Жизнь Клима Самгина (1986), Vaska /Васька (1989), Anecdotes /Anekdoty /Анекдоты (1990) and Eastern Romance /Vostochnyy roman /Восточный роман (1992) by Viktor Titov, Treasure Island /Ostrov sokrovishch /Остров сокровищ (1971) by Yevgeni Fridman, Nicolo Paganini /Никколо Паганини (1982) by Leonid Menaker.

Elena Vladimirovna has the honorary titles of Veteran of Labor and Honoured cinematographer of Russian Federation.
