Leonid Svintsitsky

Born on March 9, 1953 in Donetsk. Honored Artist of Russian Federation (2001).

In 1973 finished the teaching department of the Crimean art school and in 1979 graduated from the artistic department of Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography VGIK (workshop of A.Borisov, L.Platov). Since 1979 works as a set-designer and after 1982 as a production designer at the “Mosfilm” studio. He was a scene designer (with D.Bogorodskiy) of “Damy i gusary” theatre play at the Kursk Drama Theatre n.a. A.S. Pushkin (1997).

Personal exhibitions: Russian House of Science and Culture (1993, Helsinki), Central Cinema House (1993, Moscow), Gallery “Novy put” (1995, 1996, Yevpatoria), Exhibition Hall of Moscow Union of Artists (1997).
