Olga Subbotina

Stage and motion picture director. Born on November 22, 1972 in Moscow. In 1997 graduated from the directing faculty of the Russian University of Theatre Arts - GITIS (studio of People’s Artist of Russia Leonid Heifetz). Since 1997 works as a stage director and since 2006 as a motion picture director.

The Sensation of a beard / Oschuschenie borody / Ощущение бороды (K.Dragunskaya, Center of Dramatic Art and Directing under the direction of A.Kazantsev and M.Roschin, Moscow). The play was shown at various theatre festivals - “Baltic House” in St. Petersburg, “Forum of the new drama” in Vilnius, “Moscow on the stage” in Paris (December 2002). Was included in the program of Chekhov International Theatre Festival in Moscow (2003).

A. Is Another Woman / A. – Eto drugaya / А. – Это другая (A.Sauter, B.Studlar Center of Dramatic Art and Directing under the direction of A.Kazantsev and M.Roschin and Chekhov International Theatre Festival). The play received two theatrical “Chayka” awards for the best works of actors.
