Svetlana Ivanova
Born on September 26, 1985 in Moscow in the family of power engineers. Studied in economics biased class of gymnasium №1515. Hadn’t dreamed of as a child of being an actress but at 14 has made her choice about future profession and joined the theatre studio. At 16 enrolled in the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK).
In 2006 graduated from VGIK (workshop of I.N.Yasulovich). The first cinema work experience was one of the leading roles in TV series “Proshchalnoe ekho”. The “big” cinema debut was in the film 9th Company /9 rota by Fedor Bondarchuk. The first big cinema work was a female lead role in the film Franz+Polina directed by a debutant Mikhail Segal. The film itself and Svetlana in the role of Polina received several domestic and international prizes at various festivals.
In 2011 Svetlana was invited to join the Sovremennik theatre to a role of Patrice Hollmann in the legendary play Three Comrades /Tri Tovarishcha. An acting debut took place on March 22, 2012.
Several bands filmed her in their video clips, the band ZNAKI (Polly, directed by Mikhail Segal), the band PROLOG (Ty lish svet, directed by O.Gorodetskaya, V.Lisnevskiy), the band KASTA (Radio signals/ Radiosignaly, directed by Mikhail Segal), the band In2Nation (Avgust vosmogo, directed by Ruben Mannspeiser).
