Georg Friedrich
Georg Friedrich was born in Salzburg, Austria. A professionally trained actor, he studied at Vienna's Schauspielschule Krauss. Georg has worked with some of Austria's most renowned directors, having been cast in the following films: NORDRAND (Barbara Albert), DIE KLAVIERSPIELERIN (Michael Haneke), HUNDSTAGE (Ulrich Seidl), OZREN (Michael Sturminger) and DONAU, DUNA, DUNAJ, DUNAV, DUNAREA (Goran Rebic). In 2003, he was cast as the lead in WELCOME HOME (Andreas Gruber).
In 2004, Georg played on the stage of the prestigious Volksbühne, Berlin in a theatre piece directed by Ulrich Seidl. As 2005 approached, he was once again extremely busy, acting in films by Detlev Buck (KNALLHART) which screened in the Berlin International Film Festival, Ulrich Seidl (IMPORT/EXPORT), Raoul Ruiz (KLIMT) and Barbara Albert (FALLEN), which screened at Toronto and in Competition in Venice in 2006. Georg teams up with Detlev Buck again and played alongside him in Glawogger's CONTACT HIGH in 2009.
