Anatoliy Beliy
Honored Artist of Russian Federation (2006).
Born on August 1, 1972 in Bratslav, Nemyriv Raion of Vinnytsia Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, USSR. Father was an engineer, mother was a German language teacher. After school he studied at the Samara Aviation Institute with specialization in programming of electronic devices but on the second year of his studies realized that want be able to do it for long. At the same time he was keen on guitar, participated in KVN (Club of the funny and Inventive people), performed in a national youth theatre. So he had travelled to Moscow and was enrolled in Shchepkin Higher Theatre School (workshop of N.Afonin and L.Novikova), graduating in 1995. During next few years he was playing in crowd scenes on the stage of Taganka Theatre and served a military service at the Theatre of the Russian Army. Since 1998 he trod the boards at Stanislavski Theatre where he performed in theatre plays directed by V.Mirzoev: The Taming of the Shrew (role of Lucentio), Twelfth Night (role of Sebastian). At Teatralnoe Tovarishchestvo 814 theatre he performed in theatre plays directed by Oleg Menshikov Gore ot uma /Woe from Wit (role of Zagoretsky), Kukhnya /Kitchen (role of Cook of the cold kitchen) and Demon directed by Kirill Serebrennikov (role of Groom, Angel). In 2003 he was accepted into the troupe of Moscow Art Theater. He is Master of Sports in acrobatics and also skilled in fencing. Married, has a son Maksim and daughter Vikroriya.
