Jyrki Linnankivi (Jyrki69)

Born Jyrki Pekka Emil Linnankivi on October 15, 1968 in Helsinki. He is the lead vocalist of a Finnish rock band The 69 Eyes.

The band’s line-up remains unchanged for 20 years of its musical activities. The 69 Eyes is the mainstream band in Finland and local radio stations compete to be the first to rotate its new records. Its several albums achieved platinum status. Jyrki is also known as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador of Finland and has a Master Degree in Analytical Chemistry.

The role in Close your eyes is his debut cinema work. The soundtracks for the film were also written and recorded by The 69 Eyes band.
