Anton Adasinsky
Anton Adasinsky was born and grew up in Saint Petersburg.
From 1982 till 1988 he worked in the Mime Theater of Vyacheslav Polunin. In 1988 Anton Adasinsky founded an avant-garde drama pantomimic theater “Derevo” where he became an actor and the director. In the beginning of the 90th Anton has moved to Dresden. There are different performances among his director's works: "Suicide", "Reflection", "Once Upon a Time", "Horseman", «The Red Zone» and others. The winner of numerous international theatrical awards, among which there is an award of the Arts Academy in Berlin, an award of Edinburgh festival "Boondocks", a jury prize of 18th International Festival of a modern pantomime in France, Grand prix of the International Festival of Mobile Theaters in Germany and many other prizes. In 2000 year the Mexican Association of Theatrical Critics recognized “Derevo” as the best foreign theater of the year. Anton Adasinsky played Drosselmejer in Michael Shemjakin's well-known performance "Nutcracker" at the Maryinsky Theater.
Before he played Moneylender in "Faust", Anton appeared at cinema occasionally. Mainly there were episodes in the experimental works and participation in the documentary projects.
